VertaseFLI Undertaking Stabilisation in Port Talbot

Contaminated Land Remediation Contractor VertaseFLI have been appointed by Costain to undertake remediation works along the route of the second phase of the Port Talbot Peripheral Distribution Road(PT PDR) scheme. 

Following a remediation options appraisal stabilisation was identified as the most sustainable and cost effective solution for the site.  A bench scale stabilisation treatability trial was undertaken by VertaseFLI, in our in-house laboratory.  The trial was highly successful, and VertaseFLI have now mobilised to site to carry out the treatment under their Environmental Permit and the CL:AIRE Code of Practice Material Management Plan for the site.
