Site Information
Working alongside the Client’s Environmental Consultant, VertaseFLI, acting as Principal Contractor co-ordinated the demolition and remediation of Station Road, Cheadle Hulme. 
The working area of the main tank excavation was bounded by a party wall and busy public highway.  Site works were actively managed to ensure no damage was sustained to adjacent property.

  • Decommissioning and removal of pumps
  • Certifying underground fuel storage tanks as gas free
  • General site clearance works
  • Demolition of forecourt canopy and shop
  • Breaking out of concrete and hardstanding
  • Sheet piling along site boundary
  • Removal of 7 no. underground fuel storage tanks
  • Dewatering tank excavations
  • Identification, classification, removal and disposal of contaminated soils.
  • Validation to the approval of the client’s environmental consultant, Joynes Pike and Associates
  • Backfill of excavations to highways specification
